I have threatened myself with creating a blog for some time. I have commented on others' blogs, and have from time to time written things I thought I might like to have up on a blog, but never have done, until a couple of minutes ago.
Why is this?
Well, for one, I'm an introvert, and there's something necessarily extroverted about putting one's words Out There for all the world to see and remark upon. Plus, although I do possess a measure of self-confidence and ego-strength, I think of myself as a relatively modest person, and there's something essentially immodest about this sort of self-exposure.
But, as Joseph II repeatedly said, "Well, there it is."
There it is.
